Today I am really excited to introduce you to one of my friends, Paige Pirkle and her awesome custom embroidery business Sew Fancy Embroidery. Paige is a hard-working farm girl, and kind of new to the Upstate area. Besides being passionate about farming, Paige is also a very talented machine embroiderer, in fact she embroidered my Home in the Finger Lakes logo and tagline on an apron for me, and I absolutely love it! I kind of don’t want to wear it while I am baking because I don’t want to stain it 
Paige doesn’t just do cute aprons, she can embroider pretty much anything you want onto a garment, check out this hereford cow embroidered on a purse!
I have seen Paige’s work and it is high quality, but I think she is the best to tell you about her services and how she got into custom embroidery, so below is my interview with Paige:
Paige, tell us all a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in central Florida, I moved here in August of 2014 (so yes, my first two winters EVER were record breakers!) My fiancé and I have a herd of Angus cows and that is our passion.
As for the embroidery, I am more or less following in the foot steps of my mom. She ran an embroidery business out of our home when I was growing up, and she farmed with my dad on nights and weekends. Actually, I guess I am following her foot steps to a T.
What type of service do you provide and what products do you sell?
I offer custom embroidery on shirts, hats, bags, jackets, and much more. Customers can supply me with a logo or design concept and have it sewn onto a garment of their choosing. I have a supplier that offers everything from plain t-shirts to Nike and Adidas golf shirts to have embroidered. You can see some of my work on my Facebook page.
What do you love most about your job?
I really love the creativity that comes with doing embroidery, it’s a lot of fun working with the different thread colors, fabrics and fonts. It’s also a really great feeling to create something that someone is going to wear with pride.
